角子機（Slot Machine）是船難世界中的自然生成建築。通常可以在紅樹林生態環境裡，連接着它自己的布景（四個木質地板、兩個骷髏與兩個金幣散落在附近）的地方找到它。
玩家可以將一個金幣放入角子機中以獲得隨機的獎品。放入金幣後，角子機會轉動一陣子，接着停在三個組合中的其中一個組合。所有的組合，無論好或壞，都會生成一定數量的物品或生物。不可能會發生花了金幣卻沒有獲得任何東西的狀況的。除了花費金幣以外，每一次轉動角子機都會減少 5 點理智值。每一個藉由轉動角子機而獲得的金幣都會永久提升理智值減少的量，每花 20 個金幣大約會以每分鐘減少 5 理智值的速度減少。
角子機是無法被摧毀的，不過，它在淹水時是沒辦法運作的。

- 韋伯不會被角子機三骷髏結果所召喚的蜘蛛主動攻擊。
- 角子機可以無限地使用，所以所有角子機的獎品列表上的物品都可以被認為是可再生的，代價是玩家的理智值（和歐氣www）。金幣的再生方式有：海盜鸚鵡隨機掉落，被裝備的海盜背包每天掉落一個，向海盜章魚交易魚類物品或者小飾品。
- 在雨季，角子機可能會被洪水淹沒，使得它在水坑干前都不能正常運作。這可以通過用將角子機圍上一圈沙袋來避免。
- 推薦在玩角子機的時候穿上護甲，而且最好是貝殼護甲或者角盔 ，因為角子機的三骷髏結果有概率生成毒蛇或者毒蚊子。也可以帶上解毒劑，取決於玩家的選擇。
- 因為角子機的三骷髏結果有可能生成猿猴，在角子機旁邊製作一個猴子球陷阱（用石牆圍住一個猴子球）會很有幫助，這可以防止吸引猿猴的注意力，防止它們偷走任何角子機吐出的獎品。排簫、睡眠吹箭、冰凍法杖也是可以的，但是不推薦，因為它們的造價比較高昂而且不能有使用次數的限制。
- 將巨形仙人掌種在賭博機附近可以殺死賭博機生成的生物，可以穿上仙人掌甲來免受AOE傷害。
- It will be wise to spin the machine, run away from it, and to come back to pick up the loot (or face your destiny). This way, it reduces the drain over time of sanity to the player.

- The fact that the Slot Machine drains the player's sanity, and the insanity aura increases with each use, may be a reference to pathological gambling, a psychological condition which consist in the addiction to gamble, and how it gets harder and harder to stop to the point that it becomes an addiction; the more the player bets in the slot machine, the longer the player stays, and the more insane the character gets.
