在Don't Starve Together里,克劳斯是一个具主动攻击性的头目级怪物,并在新王朝版本中开始被加入的游戏内容,牠的模样就像是坎普斯的大一号型态。当玩家对着克劳斯的袋子使用鹿角钥匙后,会让克劳斯从中距离的范围与一对宝石鹿(红/蓝)一同被召唤出来,并往克劳斯的袋子范围的方向移动。当克劳斯失去与牠共行的宝石鹿时,会使克劳斯跪地,然后令牠变得更巨大一些、并使牠自身增加攻击力、生命以及伤害减免。
此外,当第一阶段克劳斯的血量达50%以下时,牠会跪下喘息,召唤出2至6只坎普斯来攻击玩家,召唤出坎普斯的数量取决于与克劳斯战斗的玩家数量,一名玩家会对应两只坎普斯依此类推。
当第一阶段的克劳斯被击倒时,牠会复活成第二阶段型态,在牠身上的锁连会被解开,并且增加了在牠身上的"大嘴"型态攻击模式,会在远距离作出扑咬的动作攻击玩家。
当牠再次被击倒时,牠会掉落两块木炭、一块怪物肉以及克劳斯钥匙 ,当对着克劳斯的袋子使用克劳斯钥匙,会掉落四个含内容物的打包袋包裹,并使克劳斯的袋子消失。
当克劳斯死亡时,宝石鹿会自动解开项链并掉落对应的红(或蓝)宝石,且不具攻击性。 但在宝石脱落前,攻击宝石鹿,宝石鹿仍会召唤魔法攻击玩家
当该克劳斯的袋子所对应的克劳斯死亡时,再次使用鹿角钥匙并不会因此再次召唤克劳斯。
宝石鹿所施放的魔法阵并不会对克劳斯造成灼烧、过冷、缓速及冻结的影响,但红宝石鹿所施放的火焰魔法阵仍会对克劳斯造成过热,导致克劳斯因此持续损血。
