Wobster Dinner is a Meat Food Item introduced in the Shipwrecked DLC. It is cooked in the Crock Pot by combining a Wobster and Butter. It takes 20 seconds to cook and 15 Days to Spoil.

When consumed, it restores 60 Health Meter, 37.5 Hunger Meter and 50 Sanity Meter.

Adding any Meats to the recipe will produce Meatballs instead. Adding any additional Fish with meat value will result in Seafood Gumbo instead, unless a Twig is also added, which may result in Fishsticks. Adding Ice will result in Wobster Bisque instead. Adding Shark Fin will result in Shark Fin Soup instead.

This recipe has a higher Crock Pot Priority than Monster Lasagna, therefore it allows using more than one Durians and/or Jellyfishes as fillers. However, Monster Meat cannot be used due to recipe restriction of not allowing meats.

Wobster Dinner was introduced in Don't Starve Together along the She Sells Sea Shells update. The dish is similar to the Shipwrecked version, except that adding any Fishes will result in Meatballs, and it looks darker than the Shipwrecked counterpart.

Warly's quote for Wobster Dinner has been changed to "No place is too remote for some fine dining!", likely due to his original quote referencing the setting of Shipwrecked.

It is Maxwell's favourite food and will restore extra 15 Hunger Meter when consumed.

Prototype Tips[]

  • Wobster Dinner is a good food choice if the player has a butterfly farm and a reliable source of Wobsters, thanks to its high Health and Sanity benefits.
  • If Sanity is not an issue, it may be a better idea to instead use the Butter to make Waffles. Waffles heal the same amount of Health and Hunger (unless you are playing as Maxwell) and uses ingredients that are much more abundant than Wobsters.
    • Wigfrid cannot eat Waffles, and Wurt cannot eat Wobster Dinner, so plan accordingly based on what Characters are currently being used.
