I was playing as WX-78 and I had just filled up on Gears after an expedition, when I decided to pick some berries. This Gobbler popped out and I'm all like "hell yeah let's kill him", so I threw my boomerang at him, and as the Boomerang came back I moved slightly and the Boomerang missed. And kept going. And I just stood there for a few seconds with my hand sticking out.
About ten days later, winter came, and some Pengulls made nest in my base. I killed them, then killed another flock that came to the same nest, and another nearby nest. As I came back to my base, I found Krampus stuck on a Tooth Trap. Thanking the stars that he didn't get away with any of my stash, I quickly dispatched him. I then promptly checked my Rabbit Traps for Rabbits, and - you wouldn't believe it - the boomerang came back! No joke, that boomerang had been in orbit for about ten days suddenly decided to come back. I would've gotten footage of it but it was so sudden I only had time to catch it before it hit me.
