I mean that perfect base is in Pig Village ( better with pig king ) because resources from it are very required :
1) Meat ( good and for Meat Effigy )
2) Pig Skin ( for Football Helmet )
3) Pig Army ( good for almost all fighting ! )
4) Manures ( give berries, petals or carrot to pigs, good for fertilizing )
5) Defence ( hounds , tallbirds )
[6] Gold from pig king ( give gravedigger items to him )
But there are some troubles :
1) Pigs can eat your food ( meat, seeds, berries, eggs ... )
2) Irritating grunting everywhere
3) Pig houses will be destroyed if you kill too much pigs ( hammer that house and use pig skin and other
resources to rebuilt it )
Another good resources are found in swamp (good way to swamp is through wormhole ) :
2) Reeds ( for birdcage and pan flute )
3) You can make wars between swamp monsters and spiders ( silk , monster meat and maybe tentacle spike )
4) You have chance to find the Eye bone and grave
Troubles :
1) Swamp monsters everywhere !!!
2) More Spider dens (maybe good)
And some other resources what would be good :
1) Rocky land - stone, gold, egg
- tallbirds, maybe more spiders than normal, but with more gold
2) Plains - beefalos ( meat, beefalo hair , defence, more manures than from pigs)(, grass)
3) Grassland - maybe bees , butterflies ( for Butter ! ), jackalopes (, grass and sticks)
4) Graveyard - gravedigger items ( for gold and amulets ), gold
