Gord's Knot has a 4.17% chance of being found when digging up a grave. Gord's Knot is a reference to the story in which Alexander the Great was told that whoever could complete the impossible challenge of disentangling Gordian's Knot and release the tethered cart would rule all of Asia. He released the cart by cutting the Knot with a knife, and went on to conquer much of Asia Minor, before his army rebelled. It has since become a metaphor for solving a complex problem with a simple solution, by thinking outside of the box. |

The Beach Toy can be obtained from a Crumpled Package which is found by fishing in the Lake at the Oasis, or by killing the Antlion. Giving a Beach Toy to the Antlion will make it drop the rare Blueprint for The Lazy Deserter. It also delays its rage by 1.32 days, making it the trinket that delays the its range for the longest duration. |

Trinkets are a group of Items that can be found around the constant through various means such as digging up Graves using a Shovel, picking tumbleweeds, befriending Catcoons, trading fish with the King of the Merms, Fishing in the Oasis or salvaging Ocean Debris.
The only use for Trinkets in Don't Starve is to be traded to the Pig King and Yaarctopus in exchange for Gold Nuggets, and for decoration.
In Don't Starve Together, trinkets can also be traded with the Antlion in the Summer to obtain Desert Stones. Some trinkets have special uses such as The Beach Toy can be traded to the Antlion in exchange for a Blueprint for The Lazy Deserter, Knight, Rook and Bishop trinkets can be traded to the Pig King in exchange for their respective figure sketches and Hardened Rubber Bung and Bent Spork can be used in sea fishing rods as floats and lures respectively.
Ball and Cup
–Wurt
The Ball and Cup has a 4.17% chance of being found when digging up a grave. A Cup-and-ball refers to a traditional children's toy where the player tried to catch the ball, which has a small cup, or hole, via the toy's handle. It can be traded to the Pig King for 4 Gold Nuggets.
When given to the Antlion as tribute, this trinket delays its rage by 0.66 days.
The Ball and Cup can be spawned into the game with the code "trinket_7"
.
Dessicated Tentacle
–Wurt
The Desiccated Tentacle has a 4.17% chance of being found when digging up a grave. It can be traded to the Pig King for 8 Gold Nuggets. Only the Hardened Rubber Bung can equal the amount of Nuggets given by the Pig King.
In Don't Starve Together, the Desiccated Tentacle can be obtained by trading with the King of the Merms in exchange for Fishes.
When given to the Antlion as tribute, this trinket delays its rage by 0.99 days.
The Dessicated Tentacle can be spawned into the game with the code "trinket_12"
.
Fake Kazoo
–Wurt
The Fake Kazoo has a 4.17% chance of being found when digging up a grave. Unlike the Pan Flute, the Fake Kazoo cannot be played. It can be traded to the Pig King for 6 Gold Nuggets.
When given to the Antlion as tribute, this trinket delays its rage by 0.66 days.

Trivia
- Under the old research method, Trinkets were one of the best ways of gaining research points (80 points).
- The reason these items are known as "trinkets" is due to their spawn code names (
"trinket_1"
,trinket_2
etc.). - One True Earring, based on the name and offering the highest appeasement to the Volcano Altar of Snackrifice, may be a reference to The Lord of the Rings, where the evil could only be vanquished by casting the One Ring into Mount Doom.
- Appeasing the Volcano with the Orange Soda may be a reference to the movie Joe Versus the Volcano, where the natives of a tropical island drink large amounts of orange soda while asking Tom Hanks' character to voluntarily jump into an active volcano.
- Only Wilson, Wendy, WX-78, Webber, and potentially Willow and Wagstaff seem to know what a license plate is. For Wigfrid, it may only be her Viking character that doesn't.
