The Treeguard Idol is a character-specific Item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in From Beyond. It can only be crafted by Woodie with the Treeguard Feller III Skill.

When burnt in a Campfire or on the ground, it transforms the nearest 2*(stack size) trees within 10m into their respective Treeguards or Poison Birchnuts. Evergreens and Lumpy Evergreens and non-barren Birchnut are possible trees for transformation. This would also cause idle Treeguards and Poison Birchnuts within 20m of the burnt Idol to attack the player burning. If the Idol was indirectly burnt, like using Dwarf Star, the awaken Treeguards would target the nearest player within 15m of the burnt Idol.
