Mangrove Trees are a type of Tree in the Shipwrecked DLC.
It is found growing in the waters of the Mangrove biome and can only be accessed by boat or raft. It has a distinctive appearance with a bulbous trunk and roots that begin above the waterline.
When chopped down, the player receives 2 Logs and 1 Twig, 2 Logs and 2 Twigs or 3 Logs and 3 Twigs, depending on the tree's size.
As of now, there is no way to plant new mangrove trees, but they will regenerate fairly quickly so long as they aren't completely destroyed, so despite the trees not being inherently renewable, their resources are as a result.
Tips
- Mangrove Trees will not be destroyed if hit by a Dragoon Egg falling from the sky; they will only be "chopped" and drop the usual Twigs and Logs. They will however be destroyed if shot at with a Boat Cannon.
