  • SHould the 'perish after 15 days' be a bug, cause i think its their lifespan cause thats how much winter lasts. I also added that more may spawn after some have died

    • What do you mean "perish"? It isn't clear what the behavior is here.

    • They die after 15 days, this is a normal winter, they die at the end of winter

    • The behaviour is that they have a fifteen day lifespan

    • Pengulls never die in the normal game. They despawn when the winter is over. Is that what you mean?

    • Ok I've looked at the code. I know what happens now, I'll update the page.

    • I might try test it out, how do I verify it though?

    • Also is it fine if I test it in DST since nothing changed of the pengulls? Its just that I have way more test tools to mess with in DST

    • I don't know if its the same, but sure go ahead. Two things to try are:

      1. Does feeding (they should eat food left around) them allow them to live longer?
      2. Once they are starving (12 days after spawn), are they hostile without getting attacked? Simple way is to have a wall built as close as possible, and see if they attack it when they are starving.

If you could check these out, it would be great help. Thanks.

    • 1. Yes, I have this mod were it shows the hunger of mobs, like pengulls, they are not losing health anymore,

      2. When they are starving they attacked a wall,

But I found out they still attack you as a flock when one is still starving

    • Those were the answers to the two things you asked

When I feed them they dont lose health
