  • Can wickerbottom sleep if there is a carpet or wooden floors? because when you observe a bed roll, it says "im not sleeping on the ground". So if she wasnt on the ground, then she could sleep. Right?

    • by force (mandrakes, sleep dart from another player in DST) but she won't go to sleep if she has a choice (no tents, siesta lean-tos, or rolls.)

    • Yep, but it still - like everything else - has nothing to do with the turf. In fact, the turf never makes a difference in anything other than plant placement ("Can the plant be placed?" [Yes/No]), bird spawning and character footsteps sound.

You forgot Meat Bulb's eyeplants spawning (it's sort of, but not quite exactly the 'Plant Placement' you mentioned), Cobblestones as roads and Puddle Spawning (in SW). And overall comfort, sophistication and ambiance satisfication, all of which improves quallity of life. Quality of gaming, actually, but you get my point =)

And yeah, the game is so detailed in some aspects of it's mechanics, that it was actually kind of frustrating discovering that carpeted flooring, in a wooden/stone enclosed space doesn't help against cold weather. I feel warmer, nevertheless.
