The Tar Extractor is a craftable Structure introduced in the Shipwrecked DLC. It is found in the Nautical Tab and requires 2 Coconuts, 4 Bamboo and 4 Limestones to craft. When placed on a Tar Slick, it will extract Tar and drop it at the output end once every four game segments (2 min). When fully fuelled it will last for two days before requiring refuelling, and produce a total of 8 tar.

Trivia

• The Tar Extractor was added to the Shipwrecked DLC more than a year after its official completion in the Home Sea Home update, after being tested in a beta branch for several months.
