Floats

Exclusive to:

Floats are Items exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in Return of Them. They are crafted in the Fishing Filter and can be combined with a Sea Fishing Rod to improve the casting range and accuracy of the landing. They can be crafted and at Tackle Receptacle, some can also be obtained by Crabby Hermit in exchange with Empty Bottles.

The Hardened Rubber Bung Trinket can also be used as a Float, however, it can't be crafted.

Trivia

• Floats were introduced in the Hook, Line, and Inker update.
• The Hardened Rubber Bung is the only trinket that can also be used as a float.
• Before the 2022 March QOL Update, the crafting recipes for the Jet, Crimson, Azure, Saffron, Down, and the Malbatross Quill Float are unlocked by giving their corresponding Adverts to a Tackle Receptacle.
