The Table Vase is a craftable Item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced within the From Beyond updates. It can be crafted in the Decorations Filter with 2 Logs and 1 Rope and requires a Sawhorse to prototype.
It can be placed on a Wooden Table and acts like the vase on the End Table. The player can place any kind of Flower in the Vase. This includes Lune Tree Blossoms, Light Bulbs, Glow Berries and Forget-Me-Lots. Placing Flowers, Lune Tree Blossoms or Forget-Me-Lots will grant the player 5 Sanity, but only for the first flower placed or when replacing a withered flower. Placed Light Bulbs and Glow Berries will provide light, but only for 10 days before requiring a replacement. Other flowers won't wilt unless the Table Vase catches fire.
A full Table Vase will always show a rose in the inventory, no matter what kind of flower it contains.
Tips[]
- Because the Table Vase can also be placed on the ground, it can be used as a cheap way to light up areas, as a placed Light Bulb will provide Light for 10 days and can be refilled with only one Light Bulb after withering.
- To get a wilted flower the Table Vase can be set on fire, which can be then extinguished with a Watering Can.
Trivia[]
- The Table Vase was introduced in the Host of Horrors update.
- At the beginning all flowers in a Table Vase were wilting after 10 days. This was changed in a hotfix shortly after the release of the Host of Horrors update to only affect Light Bulbs and Glow Berries.
