The Syrup of Ipecaca is a character-specific item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in From Beyond. It can only be crafted by Wormwood with the Poor Sap skill.

It is meant to be fed to a creature (such as a Pig), which will cause it to start repeatedly dropping manure and taking damage every 3 seconds. The effect lasts for 45 seconds, dealing a total of 75 damage (95 including base damage) and producing 15 manure (or 1 extra if the creature drops manure when fed). If eaten by a player, only the base health penalty will apply.
