The Swinesbury City Hall is a naturally spawning Pig Shop Structure exclusive to the Hamlet DLC. It is found in Swinesbury Pig City and sells a variety of permits and contracts to the player.
Interior[]
Upon entering the Swinesbury City Hall, the player will find a variety of Items that are sold in exchange for Oincs. Additionally, Mayor Truffleston wanders around the room.
The following items can be found on displays in the center of the City Hall which will be restocked by the Mayor except for the Deed of home ownership:
| Item | Name |
|
|---|---|---|
|
Deed of home ownership | 50 |
|
House Expansion Permit | 50 |
|
Demolition Permit | 10 |
|
Security Contract | 10 |
My City Hall[]
Upon obtaining the Key to the City in the Palace, the player will be able to craft their own City Hall. It is found in the City Planning Tab, and requires four Boards, four Gold Nuggets and four Pig Skins to craft. Building a City Hall will allow the player to become the Mayor of their own Pig City.
Interior[]
The structure's interior will be similar to the Mayor Truffleston's house, except for the selling displays not being present. Similar to the Slanty Shanty, one may build Structures within their City Hall. However, My City Hall can be entered during the Night, making it useful for storage or emergency shelter from Darkness.
Tax Collection[]
The City Hall allows the player to collect taxes from their townsfolk every 10 days. On the morning of a tax day, the character will indicate it is time to collect taxes. A player collects a single Oinc from each resident of Town Houses they built themselves. Tax collection does not take place if the player is too far away from the City Hall. The player will not receive Oincs from missed tax collections.
Bugs[]
- Dying in a different world (any of the three DLC realms, as well as caves, ruins, and the volcano) and respawning from a Meat Effigy or Magic Flower that was placed inside any Hamlet DLC interior (Slanty Shanty etc.) will cause the player to be respawned out in the void of the world holding the respawn structure. It is recommended to use the command c_warp("prefab") to teleport the character back into the world, as walking back in can be problematic for world types such as Shipwrecked.
