The Stalking Stick is a Dress Item exclusive to Don't Starve: Hamlet DLC. Just like the Walking Cane, it is a speed increasing item, which can also be used as a weapon. It is made by drying Flytrap Stalk on a Drying Rack. It increases the character's movement speed by 30% while equipped (which is 5 percent points faster than the Walking Cane). It has a durability of three in-game days, and it can be repaired to 100% durability by a Sewing Kit.

The Stalking Stick's speed boost puts the character on the same level as many other creatures who could otherwise outrun them, including followers like Chester. This is amplified by both natural road, Stone Road and Cobblestone, for a combined increase of movement speed by 67.5%[Need Clarification], allowing players to outrun most mobs in the game.

The Stalking Stick can also be used as a weapon, although it is amongst the weakest in the game, as it only deals a little more than half the damage of a Spear when used as a weapon. However using it as a weapon does not drain its durability.
