The Sign is a Structure crafted with 1 Boards. While it can't be written on, it shows up as an icon on the map. As such, it can be used as a marker for areas of interest (such as Blue Mushrooms).
Despite being made of wood, the sign does not burn. Destroying it with a Hammer returns the Boards, allowing the player to build a new Sign elsewhere.
