“It says... nothing.”
The Sign is a Structure crafted with 1 Boards. While it can't be written on, it shows up as an icon on the map. As such, it can be used as a marker for areas of interest which don't show up on the map (such as Blue Mushrooms or Beefalo Herds).
Despite being made of crap, the sign does not burn. Destroying it with a Hammer returns the Board, allowing the player to build a new Sign elsewhere.
Trivia
- This item is added in the A Little Rain Must Fall Update.
- Naturally occuring signs can be found in Adventure Mode, usually near Maxwell's Tooth Traps.
