Restrained Static is an item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in Return of Them. It is obtained by successfully aiding and defending Wagstaff in a Moonstorm from the hostile Misshapen Birds and Moonblind Crows. Doing so will cause the Moonstorm to cease and reappear elsewhere on the map.
One Restrained Static is needed to build stage 3 of the Lunar Siphonator.
Wigfrid can use Restrained Static to convert the Elding Spear into its charged version to benefit from her Elding Spear Enhancement I & II.
