The Reinforced Support Pillar is a Structure exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. It can be crafted as the Support Pillar Scaffold in the Structures Filter with 1 Cut Stone and 2 Boards after learning the rare Blueprint gained by defeating the Ancient Guardian. After placed it will need to be given 40 Rocks to become a finished pillar.
A complete Reinforced Support Pillar is protecting the area from falling objects during an Earthquake within a radius of 10 tiles (or 40 units). Each time it is blocking a falling object it loses 1 durability. When the durability reaches certain amounts, it will change its appearance to a more and more broken Pillar. It can be repaired with Rocks. If the durability reaches 0, it will turn into a Support Pillar Wreckage, not giving protection anymore, but can be repaired with up to 40 rocks.
The Pillar can also be hammered, only returning 1 Rocks for each stage and 1 Cut Stone when destroying the wreckage. Hammering the scuffold will drop also 1 Boards. It can't be deconstructed with a Deconstruction Staff.

The Reinforced Dreadstone Pillar is a Structure exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. It can be crafted as the Dreadstone Pillar Scaffold in the Structures Filter with 4 Dreadstone and 2 Boards after learning the rare Blueprint gained by defeating the Nightmare Werepig. After placed it will be a Pillar Scaffold that needs to be given 40 Dreadstone to become a complete Pillar.
The Reinforced Dreadstone Pillar is protecting the area from falling objects during an Earthquake within a radius of 10 tiles (or 40 units). Each time it is blocking a falling object it loses 1 durability. When the Dreadstone Pillar is damaged, it will regenerate slowly its durability, but also draining the players Sanity within a radius of 8 tiles at a maximum rate of -10 depending on the distance. When the durability reaches certain amounts, it will change its appearance to a more and more broken Pillar. When it is turning into its wrecked stage, it will not regenerate durability by itself anymore, needing 40 Dreadstone to be repaired.
Although the Reinforced Dreadstone Pillar can be hammered, it doesn't drop anything and doesn't loose durability. After every hit with a Hammer the character will be pushed back, giving the Pillar the time to repair the damage the player was causing (verification needed). It can't be deconstructed with a Deconstruction Staff.
