The Prestihatitator is the tier one Magic research station. It can be used to prototype basic Magic, Refine, and Gemology recipes. This machine requires 1 Living Log, 4 Gold Nuggets, and 1 Top Hat, and requires a Science Machine or an Alchemy Engine to prototype. It is a tier 1 magic research station.
Recipes unlocked: Purple Gem, Nightmare Fuel, Night Light, One-man Band, Pan Flute, Shadow Manipulator, Meat Effigy, Ice Staff, Fire Staff, Chilled Amulet, and Life Giving Amulet.

Trivia
- The name "Prestihatitator" is a portmanteau of "prestidigitator" and "hat."
- This may have something to do with William Carter, who was a magician.
- When used, the Prestihatitator has a chance of spawning a rabbit, a reference to the magic trick of pulling a rabbit from a hat. Rabbits produced from this machine are homeless and sleep outside at night, making them an easy target.
