Pomegranate is a rare Fruit that can be Farmed from Farm Plots by planting Seeds for a 5% chance of growing, or using Pomegranate Seeds (Windblown Seeds). It can be used as an ingredient in several Crock Pot recipes. Feeding a Pomegranate to a Bird in a Birdcage will produce 1–2 Pomegranate Seeds with a 50% chance to also drop a regular seed. In Don't Starve Together, you will always get 1 Pomegranate Seed.

Pomegranate can be used as a Crock Pot ingredient with 1 Fruit value.

Wolfgang, when examining a Sliced Pomegranate.

Sliced Pomegranate is a Fruit Food item made by Cooking a Pomegranate on a CampfireFire Pit or Star. It restores 20 Health Meter.png and slightly more hunger than its raw counterpart, but its spoilage time is halved. It can also be used as an ingredient in several Crock Pot recipes. It can be used as an alternative to healing items, such as Healing Salves and Honey Poultices.

Prototype.png Tips[]

  • It's not efficient to eat a Pomegranate as Wortox to deal with hunger, as the bonus given upon consumption is almost non-existent. The player can get more advantages out of it if used in a Crock Pot or if consumed as a healing alternative.
