The Polar Bearger Bin is a craftable Item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced within the From Beyond updates. It requires 1 Spark Ark, 1 Thick Fur, 3 Pure Brilliances and 5 Moon Rocks to craft at the Brightsmithy. Like all Brightsmithy items, it can not be prototyped.
The Polar Bearger Bin can contain up to 6 stacks of Crock Pot dishes, lowering their Spoilage rate by 20 times. It can be carried in the inventory similar to the Tackle Box and can be opened directly from there when standing still. The Polar Bearger Bin can also contain non-perishable dishes like Jellybeans.
Using a Deconstruction Staff on it will drop the full Spark Ark that was used for crafting.
Trivia[]
- The Polar Bearger Bin was introduced in the Host of Horrors update.
- Once obtained, the Polar Bearger Bin becomes the best food storage item, as it can be kept in the inventory (unlike an Insulated Pack, which requires an empty chest slot) and its spoilage rate decrease is five times better than that of a Salt Box and ten times better than that of a Ice Box and an Insulated Pack.
- In an early Beta version the Polar Bearger Bin did not drop a Spark Ark on destruction and the spoilage rate was lowered by 10 times instead of 20 times.
- Before the Scrappy Scavengers update, the Polar Bearger Bin was dropped on the floor when opening it from the inventory.
- Food inside the Polar Bearger Bin are invulnerable for rapidly spoil in Toadstool Spore Clouds and Acid Rains, if closed.
