The Ocean Trawler Kit is an Item exclusive to Don't Starve Together introduced in The Curse of Moon Quay update. It can be crafted from 2 Boards, 2 Ropes and 6 Silks. It can be deployed into the Ocean.

The Ocean Trawler automatically catches Ocean Fish after lowering the net into the water. It contains four inventory slots. If fish swims up to the device, it enters one of the slots. If a fish swims up when all four slots are filled, the net breaks, releasing all of the fish. Repairing the net takes no materials.

The four inventory slots can be filled with food items (not Rot) as bait to increase the chance of catching ocean fish. With bait items, fish will intentionally swim to the net to eat it, if it matches the fish's diet. Without bait, the device still works, as fish still hit the device when swimming aimlessly.

Fish inside the trawler spoil 90% slower.

If the trawler is lowered into the water while completely full, it doubles the chances for Rockjaws, Skittersquids and Gnarwails to spawn nearby.
