Is it staring at me? ...No, I guess not.

Wilson

No-Eyed Deer are neutral, seasonal Mobs exclusive to Don't Starve Together and introduced in A New Reign. They are often found in groups of 7 to 9.

No-eyed Deer spawn near the beginning of Autumn (excluding the first Autumn if it's the starting Season) in Deciduous Forests or Mosaic Biomes.

Past the beginning of Winter they will grow one of the 3 variations of antlers. They will, although, despawn around the end of this season, unless they are near a player base.

Brain Behavior

No-Eyed Deer will spawn within 3 to 5 days into Autumn. They will not spawn on craftable Turfs, Savanna Turf, or Marsh Turf. They will always spawn as a group, and away from all players.

Within 2 days before or after the end of Winter, No-Eyed Deer will despawn, unless they are within 1.5 screens (7.5 Pitchfork tiles) of at least 10 player Structures or Walls.

No-Eyed Deer will run away from the player if they approach, and will attack back should a player successfully hit one. If the player is able to get far enough from the Deer, it will give up on the chase.

No-Eyed Deer will help each other in combat in the same way Beefalo help each other when attacked.
