The Nightmare Saddle is a craftable item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. It can only be crafted at a Shadowcraft Plinth, requiring 1 Possessed Shadow Atrium, 8 Pure Horror, 8 Dreadstone, and 5 Dark Tatters.

Usage

The Nightmare Saddle is a variant of the normal Saddle used to ride a Beefalo. The Beefalo will gain additional 18 Planar Damage, additional 10% damage against Lunar Aligned mobs, 60% protection, 15 Planar Defense, and 10% less damage from Shadow Aligned creatures. In addition, it allows a 45% riding speed above the base speed of the Beefalo (vs. 40% for a regular Saddle).

The Nightmare Saddle can be shaken off by a disobedient Beefalo 12 times instead of 5 before it breaks. When it breaks, it does not disappear. It can be repaired with a Void Repair Kit.
