The Midsummer Cawnival is a seasonal event in Don't Starve Together that took place between June 3, 2021 and July 6, 2021.[1][2][3] It is based on Summer solstice celebrations.[4] The 2022 Roadmap announced "significant additions" to the Cawnival, including more games and prizes.[5]

Corvus Goodfeather[]

–Wurt

Corvus Goodfeather allows the player to begin the event as well as purchase games and tokens once the Cawnival Tree has been placed. He is at the Florid Postern all the time if the Cawnival Tree is yet to have been planted. However, if the player plants the Cawnival Tree elsewhere and rings the bell, he will attempt to reach the location of the tree.
Upon getting close enough to Corvus, a new crafting tab will become available named "Cawnival Creation". This tab only has the "Cawnival Sapling" initially. After purchasing and constructing the "sapling" the rest of the tab becomes available.
Corvus Goodfeather is marked out on the map similar to mobs like Chester. When the player is playing a minigame, he will watch and comment on the player when they are playing the game well. Once the minigame ends, depending on how well the player did, he will give the player extra prize tickets.
Crow Kid[]

–Wurt

Crow Kids are Cawnival spectators that will appear once the player plants the Cawnival Tree and will wonder around and interact with any decorations if the player planted any nearby. The more decorations that are around the Cawnival Tree, the more Crow Kids will fly in. Whenever the player begins a minigame and any Crow Kids are nearby, they will watch the player and cheer them on whenever they are doing well. When the minigame ends, they will drop 1 prize ticket.
Whenever a hostile mob approaches near them they will fly away from the danger; even a non-hostile Shadow Creature will still cause them to fly away.
Crow Kids have randomized names similar to Bunnymen and Pigs.
Possible Crow Kid names:
- Apollo
- Russel
- Jet
- Bram
- Corbett
- Korbin
- Ava
- Merle
- Swift
- Symone
- Baxter
- Robyn

Cawnival Games[]
Eggs in a Basket[]
Eggs in a Basket is one of three Cawnival games. After purchased from Corvus Goodfeather it can get set up and will accept one "Cawnival Token" to begin. Once the token has been inserted round one will immediately begin. Each round a picture of incrementing number of stars will display above the nest at the top of the arena, then that many of the 9 "baskets" will pop up with a star on the front of the egg, the rest of the baskets will pop up with a "normal" egg. The objective is to interact with all of the star eggs in each round as quickly as possible and get through as many rounds as possible before the timer runs out. After the timer runs out and the "baskets" retreat back into the earth, the nest at the top will dispense "Prize Tickets". These can then be exchanged at the Prize Booth.
Hubbub for Grub[]
Hubbub for Grub is one of three Cawnival Games. After purchased from Corvus Goodfeather it can get set up and will accept one "Cawnival Token" to begin. Once the token has been inserted the birdhouse in the middle of the arena will dispense three "Grub". These can equiped and used to interact with the "chicks" that will begin to pop out around the arena. The objective is to feed as many "chicks" as fast as possible. After the timer runs out and the "chicks" will retreat back into the earth, the birdhouse in the middle will dispense "Prize Tickets". These can then be exchanged at the Prize Booth.
Egg Scramble[]
Egg Scramble is one of three Cawnival Games. After purchased from Corvus Goodfeather it can get set up and will accept one "Cawnival Token" to begin. Once the token has been inserted the "Coo-coo" in the middle of the arena will dispense clockwork Scrambling Eggs in all directions. These eggs will flee from the player and if droven into the center circle they will explode in a small shower of confetti. The objective is to lead as many Scrambling Eggs into the center of the arena until the time runs out. After the timer runs out and all the remaining Scrambling Eggs breakdown, the "Coo-coo" in the center will dispense "Prize Tickets". These can then be exchanged at the Prize Booth.
Prize Booth[]

–Wurt

The Prize Booth is a unique structure used in the Midsummer Cawnival. After purchasing Prize Booth Kit from Corvus Goodfeather, the player can set it up one the ground. When players approach the Prize Booth, a new crafting tab call "Trinket Trove" will become available, which allows players to exchange rewards using their Prize Tickets.
The Prize Booth will emit some light when the player stands close to it.
