Yeah, Boiboiboi has been vandalizing our pages for several days now, using dozens of IPs/sockpuppet accounts. We're trying to cut the problem at its root, but the sheer number of accounts he can open is quite a bit of an issue.
I've written a quick guide for some friends for setting up a Don't Starve Together dedicated server and thought it might be relevant to share here on the fandom wiki. Would that be appropriate?
Some of the steps are the same as this page Guides/Don’t Starve Together Dedicated Servers, but not all of them, so I'm not sure if it makes sense to post it there, or if it would be better to make a new page, or perhaps a blog post.. if you have any advice, it would be much appreciated.
you have been a custodian on this wiki for quite some time, have been continuously active and have done a lot of quality contributions (many of them stay hidden in the upload log, however, they do not go unnoticed!). Thanks a lot!
If the other active admins and custodians agree, I'd like to offer you a promotion to the Admin user group. I really think we could use some reinforcement on that side. Please let us know what you think.
Well then, congratulations on becoming an admin! :) You'll now have access to the Admin Dashboard and can make yourself familiar with the new tools and options.
If you like, you can add some custom styling to your user name, message wall links and comments backgrounds. This has sort of become customary for admins on this wiki and could help to highlight your contributions a bit more. You can do so in Wikia.css (at the bottom of the script). If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
I'd also suggest styling your signature in the User Preferences if you haven't done so already. You may also want to protect your user profile against unwanted edits and vandalism as it's going to be a bit more exposed from now on.
Hey there, would you like to become a Custodian? You've made awesome contributions over the past months, and that way you could easily delete unused files instead of marking them with a template. Please let me know what you think.
Please do not move or merge pages without having properly discussed it with the rest of us. Renaming an old and often linked page such as Backpack can easily cause chaos. You may use comments or the Merge template to start a discussion with other editors, if you feel that an article should be renamed.
Other than that, thank you for your awesome contributions! ;)
