I tried putting the dragonfly to sleep and putting 14 gunpowder as close as i could get it to him, i lit and ran. He didn't lose any health, i checked to see if he had more health than the wiki said bacause it was DST, it was the same. Just wondering if you know anything about this , seeing as you were the one who told me about it before.
Dragonflies have 10x times the health in DST(27500) - you need 138 gunpowder to completely kill it, other dst enemies have often doubled health - tigerspiders, other giants, werepigs etc. you can find the numbers at http://dont-starve-game.wikia.com/wiki/Don't_Starve_Together if you expand Dst health balances
Firstly, is that ALL dragonflies that have 10x the amount of health? or just the one that lives around the magma pools? And i checked out the link and I expanded the balances but i can only see some of the mobs, and are you sure it's 27500?! It seems a little rediculous don't you think? And i will have to mass produce gunpowder for days to take on this guy now! And I am still concerned that when i used gunpowder on my dragonfly before, i didn't see any health drop at all (I was using the health info mod and saw no change), was that just because the damage i dealt wasn't enough to take it below 2750 health?
Ok, thanks for the help. And looking back I might not have put it close enough to her, even though she was in her calm green state, I got fire damage when I went as close as I could. I think this might have been a glitch but I don't think she looked stunned afterwards.Tnaks for telling me the useful information for example the dragonflies only spawn in the arenas in DST RoG. (You are much more helpful than Teo XD)
Oh and I'm pretty sure that when caves are added, I will have to generate a new world to get the sinkholes. Am I right? If so me and my friends will have 3 really nice DST worlds: one from default DST, one from DST RoG and then a future one with caves. Looking forward to the caves in multiplayer so much.
It was me and my friend. As he was playing as wendy, I did most of the attacking. He was giving me support like freezing the dragonfly, keeping the endothermic fire alight and keeping our food and health supplies going etc. We did use a large amount of gunpowder to take down over half her health (I can't remember how much exactly but it took a while to make, lots of mining, spoilt eggs, and burning trees) and i finished her off with the power of wigfrid. It was a long battle.
