The Masked Pig is a Mob exclusive to the Don't Starve: Hamlet DLC, which can only be found in a Pig Town.

It is a stealer: it will immediately become aggressive toward the player upon spawning if there is at least one Oinc in their inventory. Otherwise, it will tiptoe and despawn once the night ends. ^{[Verification Needed]}

Behavior

If Oincs are present in the player's inventory, Masked Pig will start to follow them, stopping occasionally as a spy would do not to be noticed. Once close enough to the player, it will run directly at them and attempt to land a hit on them.

If a Masked Pig manage to hit the player, every Oinc and Tenpiece Oinc in their inventory will be dropped on the ground. Each fallen Oinc will then have to be picked up individually, and it has to be done quickly, otherwise it might be stolen by the Masked Pig or any nearby Royal Guard.

Upon being attacked, a Masked Pig will immediately jump backwards to dodge subsequent attacks, then will flee. Its running speed is higher than the normal running speed of the player, which make it difficult to catch it up. After about 10 seconds ^{[Need Clarification]} without being hit, the Masked Pig will vanish, taking any stolen Oincs with it.

Tips

• A useful method for taking this enemy out and collecting the resulting Bandit Stash Map is to use Blow Darts gathered after disarming dart traps in the ruins. Allow the Masked Pig to run toward the player, dodge their attack and immediately attack with Blow Darts. Three successful hits will take them out.
• Another useful method to beat the Masked Pig is to trap him into a group of Royal Guard members. It will be difficult for this Mob to dodge every attack, and once it has been hit once, this fight can alert other Pigs who will come to help.
