“This thing is huge!”
The Luxury Fan is an item from the Reign of Giants DLC. When used, it reduces the temperature of the player by a maximum of 50 °C and puts out nearby fires. It has 15 uses. The Luxury Fan is crafted from the Survival Tab using Down Feathers dropped by the Moose/Goose during Spring and requires an Alchemy Engine to prototype.
Due to the range of its effect, the Luxury Fan is a good substitute for Ice Flingomatic to put out fires in Summer. Even more so when the player starts in Spring, since Ice for the Flingomatics is scarce. Even with a Flingomatic, it can help putting out wildfires that are too big to handle for a single Flingomatic.
