The Lunar Siphonator, also known as the completed form of the Incomplete Experiment, is a craftable structure exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in Return of Them.
The Incomplete Experiment blueprint will be given to players by Wagstaff upon entering a Moonstorm for the first time, along with the blueprint for the Astroggles.
The Incomplete Experiment serves as the first stage of the Lunar Siphonator and can only be built over the Mysterious Energy spawned by assembling the Celestial Altar, Celestial Sanctum and Celestial Tribute nearby to one another.
Similar to the Hermit Home, it is crafted in stages by adding materials for each upgrade:
- Stage 1 (aka crafting the Lunar Siphonator) requires 4 Scrap, 5 Moongleams and 2 Electrical Doodad.
- Stage 2 requires 4 Scrap, 10 Moongleams and 10 Infused Moon Shards.
- Stage 3 requires one Restrained Static, the Celestial Orb and 20 Infused Moon Shards. This completes the Lunar Siphonator.
Therefore, the total cost of building the Lunar Siphonator is:
- 1 Restrained Static: Reward for helping Wagstaff complete his experiment.
- 8 Scrap: Hammering Abandoned Junk, rummaging Junk Piles, deconstructing Horizon Expandinator.
- 15 Moongleams: Caught with Bug Nets during the Moonstorm Event
- 30 Infused Shards: Mined during the Moonstorm event
- 2 Electrical Doodads
- the Celestial Orb: Obtained by mining the Suspicious Boulder.
0.4655-1.064 seconds after the completion of Stage 3, 6 meteors will crash down within 10-19m around the structure, which will destroy it and spawn the Celestial Champion. All structures within 15m will be destroyed, and all workable within 15m will be worked. For instance, any rocks will be mined and any trees will be chopped.
Trivia[]
