Lotus Plants are Plants exclusive to the Hamlet DLC. They are found in the Lily Pond biome (which is submerged in water and requires a boat to traverse) and can be harvested by hand to receive 1 Lotus Flower, after which they will need 5 days to regrow. They leave behind small floating leaves after being harvested.
Harvesting a Lotus Flower has a chance to spawn the Platapine, which will attempt to eat from any nearby unharvested Lotus Plants, which can make harvesting many Lotus Plants at once challenging. It is comparable to the Gobbler when harvesting Berries.
Tips
- The Platapine will sleep at night, making it much easier to harvest several Lotus Plants.
- Wickerbottom can mass-harvest lotus flowers using Applied Horticulture, with only a small net decreases in Sanity.
