Iron Ore is a resource exclusive to the Hamlet DLC. It can be found lying around in the Painted Biome and in Thunderbirds' Nests. It can also be obtained from mining Iron Hulks and Gnat Mounds which makes it renewable. Another way to obtain iron ore is through trawling in Hamlet Lilly Ponds (3.92% chance).
Iron Ore is required for several Crafting recipes, including those found in the Treasure Hunting Tab.
