The Ice Floe is a unique area exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. It is a remote island located far out into the Ocean and accessible only by Boat or using Woodie's Weregoose form or soul hopping as Wortox.
The Ice Floe is covered with some solid ice tiles with an Ice Fishing Hole in the center from where the Frostjaw can be spawned. The area around the Ice Floe is covered with Mini Glaciers during late autumn, winter, and spring, which will melt until Summer.
When it is getting colder around winter, the Ice Floe grows and receives more ice tiles. These tiles will start breaking away when it is getting warmer around spring, resulting into small floating boat-like platforms which will break after a few seconds. Players can enter and leave these platforms before they break.
