The Healing Salve is an item which can be used to recover 20 Health. It requires 1 Spider Gland, 2 Ash, and 1 Rocks to craft. It is tier 2 healing item, following the Honey Poultice.
Comparied to the Honey Poultice, Healing Salve is easier to craft as raw materials for the Honey Poultice require Reeds, which only spawn in Swamp. The Salve heals 20 points whereas the Honey Poultice heals 30. Also, you can find a lot of Spider Dens in the Forest. Ash is dropped from fire, you can also burn things that aren't trees to obtain ash.
