Grasslands are a common Biome found in the world. They are generally safe areas with many types of useful resources. Grasslands are characterized by green grass and scattered Evergreens. Grass, Saplings, Carrots, Flowers, and Berry Bushes all grow in these areas. There are often Flint found on the ground and rarely a Boulder to be mined. Grasslands often mingle with areas of Forest and occasionally Marsh. The player always spawns in a Grassland upon entry to a world, whether it be a small patch or a whole biome.

Beehives are common and Pig Villages are usually found on Grassland terrain. Rabbit holes appear sparsely in Grasslands, as do Ponds which spawn Frogs. Butterflies are most commonly found in these areas because of the abundant flowers. The primary dangers in Grasslands are Spider Dens, which are typically spread out. Massed Killer Bee Hives can sometimes be found in these areas as well.
