The Fashion Melon is a Dress item in the Reign of Giants DLC. It will slowly cool down the player and will drain the player's sanity by 2 points per minute. The Fashion Melon does not have a durability, instead rotting after a few days, similar to the Ham Bat and the Garland. It requires 1 Watermelon and 3 Twigs to craft. Despite providing some protection from the rain, the Fashion Melon will gradually increase the player's wetness up to a maximum of 33.
Wearing the Fashion Melon while playing with WX-78 will cause the player to take damage periodically.
