(Fixed the Maxwell's Quote trivia, it said Berries were dropped by gobblers and not Drumsticks, which didn't make sense and isn't the truth.) Tag: Visual edit |

A Drumstick is a Meat food item dropped when a Gobbler or a Pengull is killed. Two raw drumsticks can be added to a Crock Pot along with another piece of meat, and 1 Fruit or Vegetable to produce a Turkey Dinner. A drumstick can also be used as a meat filler for other recipes, or dried on a Drying Rack for 1 day to produce a Small Jerky. Like other meats, a drumstick can be given to a Pig to have them follow the player, or to the Pig King in exchange for a Gold Nugget.
Fried Drumstick
A Fried Drumstick is a Drumstick that has been Cooked on a Campfire, Fire Pit or Star. When eaten, it replenshes 12.5 hunger points and 1 health point. If a Gobbler dies from being set on fire, it will drop a Fried Drumstick instead. A Fried Drumstick can be given to a Pig to have them follow the player, or to the Pig King in exchange for a Gold Nugget. It may also be used as a meat filler in the Crock Pot, however, the Turkey Dinner still requires two raw drumsticks as a prerequisite.
Reign of Giants
In the Reign of Giants DLC, Drumsticks can be acquired by killing Buzzards, a Moose/Goose, or Moslings.

Trivia
- Maxwell's quote on Drumsticks, "Tastes strangely like berries", refers to Drumsticks being dropped by Gobblers, mobs that will eat Berries on sight.
- Wilson's quote, "I should gobble it", is probably also a reference to the Drumstick being dropped by Gobblers.
