A Down Feather is an Item from the Reign of Giants DLC. It is dropped by both the Moose/Goose and her Moslings. Down Feathers can be used to craft a Luxury Fan or a Weather Pain.
Hamlet[]
Down Feathers are also included in the Hamlet DLC, however, they can only be bought for 10 Oincs each at 'The Sty' Oddities Emporium in the Pig City.
Don't Starve Together[]
In Don't Starve Together, one Down Feather can be used to craft a Down Quill Float. It is also an ingredient for Wickerbottom's Practical Rain Rituals book and Wigfrid's Warrior's Reprise.

Trivia- Down is a layer of soft feathers underneath a bird's exterior feathers used as an insulator and padding.
- Before the Scrappy Scavengers update, the Down Feather could only be stacked up to 10.
