Did you know that for the announcement of Don't Starve Together, the players had to solve an unusual riddle. They needed to find notes in the game with coordinates that needed to be compared with a secret map. After it turned out that all the coordinate points form a constellation of twins. However, how did it announce the game?
Do you know who Brightmare Alterego is? This creature was supposed to appear in one of the Return of Them updates. It was able to please the player depending on who you play as. Apparently it belonged to lunar beings, like the Gestalts
Despite their name, California Rolls are not actually California Rolls. The California Roll was invented to popularize sushi in North America. To become appetizing for people who did not like seeing seaweed, it's prepared "inside out", where the seaweed is inside and the rice is outside of the roll. However, the in-game image for California Roll has the seaweed outside, indicating it's not actually a California Roll.
Caves are large underground sections of the world filled with unique features. They are so large that they are generated as whole new maps upon entering. Caves have their own artwork, terrain, and maps. Various creatures, plants, and other objects that do not appear elsewhere reside within Caves.
A Cave can be found underneath a Plugged Sinkhole. Upon mining the plug, an open Sinkhole appears with a rope leading down into a new Cave. Each Cave is generated just like a new world. A different loading screen will play while it is created. While within a Cave, time in the world above continues to pass and vice versa.
There are currently 23 playable Characters in Don't Starve, its DLCs and Don't Starve Together. The first accessible character is Wilson, considered the protagonist and the focus of the game's story. Each character has at least one unique perk or ability. This brings strategic variety to the game as players can pick their players according to their play style and objectives in game.
Most of the other Characters can be unlocked when sufficient Experience has been accrued. However there are currently five exception characters that are not gained by conventional experience, but through game feats. Players can also download mods for additional characters on Steam or on Klei Forum.
Crock Pot is used to cook various food items. There are 48 recipes available (including DLC and Don't Starve Together recipes). Some food are considered as invalid ingredients in Crock Pot. Moreover Wet Goop may be produced as a result of an unsuccessful cooking process. An average recipe takes 40 seconds to cook (exact times are listed in each individual recipe).
Despite its relative high cost in early game, rushing a Crock Pot may provide a boost to any players as it greatly enhances the value and efficiency of food items to players, for example, it can turn a Monster Meat into a very efficient food item by combining with 2 Meats and 1 Carrot.
