Deep Rainforests is a biome introduced in Don't Starve: Hamlet. They are characterized by their red leaf-like Deep Rainforest Turf, Rainforest Trees, Great Leafy Stalks, and generally dense foliage. Pig ruins and artifacts may also be scattered about.
Deep Rainforest are more dangerous than most other biomes. In addition to limited visibility, many dangerous life forms such as Hanging Vines, SnapTooth Seedlings, SnapTooth Flytraps, and the occasional Spider Monkey.
Deep Rainforest cannot be dug up with a Pitchfork to get its Turf.
