Crab Guard[]

Crab Guards are hostile mobs exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. They spawn during the Crab King fight after an area of Ice Floe is created. Between 3 and 8 Crab Guards spawn depending on the amount of socketed Purple Gems on the Crab King.
Crab Guards have 200 - 840 health, depending on the amount of socketed Purple Gems. When killed, they drop 1-2 Meat, 1-2 Rocks, and 0-2 Flint.
Behavior[]
Crab Guards are hostile towards players. They deal 30 damage and have a sanity aura of -25/min. Crab Guards can be put to sleep with 2 Sleep Darts; this number increases with every socketed Purple Gem up to 22.
Crab Knight[]

Crab Knights are hostile mobs exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. They spawn during the Crab King fight after the health of the Crab King gets below 3000 and an area of Ice Floe is created.
Crab Knights have 1000 health. When killed, they drop 1-3 Meat, 1-3 Rocks, and 1-2 Flint.
Behavior[]
Crab Knights are hostile towards players. They deal 80 damage and have a sanity aura of -40/min. Crab Knights can perform a special attack, spinning quickly in one direction for a short time.
Crab Knights can be put to sleep with 12 Sleep Darts; this number increases with every socketed Purple Gem up to 32.
Gem Effects[]
The Crab King's fighting abilities depend on the number of gems of each color socketed into him. Iridescent Gems count as 1 of each color and the Pearl's Pearl counts as 3 of each color.
