Cloth is a Refined Item introduced in the Shipwrecked DLC. It requires a Science Machine to prototype and 3 Bamboo to craft. Cloth can also be occasionally found when Hammering Crates or floating on the water in Ship Graveyards. It is used in many crafting recipes and can be used as Fuel.

In the Hamlet DLC, Bamboo is unavailable, so players must acquire Cloth through different means. In the early game one piece of Cloth can be acquired from hammering the hot air balloon debris scattered around the player's spawn point. Later, Cloth can be bought in Pigg and Pigglet's General Store for 5 Oincs.
