The Brightshade Sword is a craftable Weapon exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the From Beyond updates. It can be crafted at the Brightsmithy with 4 Pure Brilliance and 3 Brightshade Husks.

The Brightshade Sword deals 38 standard damage and 30 Planar Damage for a total of 68 damage. The sword also deals +10% more standard damage and 10% more planar damage to Shadow Aligned creatures for a total of 74.8 damage. Planar damage pierces through the protection of worn Armor and Planar Entity Protection.

If the Brightshade Helm is equipped, the Brightshade Sword deals +10% standard damage and an additional +5 planar damage for a total of 76.8 damage (or 84.5 damage to shadow-aligned enemies). Therefore, equipping the helm turns the Brightshade Sword into the strongest general purpose melee weapon in the game, except for Wanda's Alarming Clock and Shadow Reaper.

When the Brightshade Sword durability is exhausted, it will not break, but instead can no longer be equipped until repaired. Using a Brightshade Repair Kit will restore the durability to 100%.
