The Ancient Gateway is a Don't Starve Together structure, introduced in A New Reign. It's located in the middle of the Atrium Biome. It currently has Black and Yellow tapes around the build, as a sign it's function is still in progress.
it's only use currently is to have a Item to be placed in it's socket, powering the Atrium Biome similarly to the Nightmare Cycle. At the moment, almost any Item can be placed in the gateway, and it will instantly convert into a Ancient Key and can be removed again as so, while also turning off the biome.
